Quality in Construction Summit
The Quality in Construction Summit sponsored by Congrid takes place on 3rd July 2019 at CentrEd ExCeL London.
With the two year anniversary of Grenfell, and the more recent Notre Dame Cathedral and Barking, London fires, the quality of our buildings is something that few can dispute needs to be addressed. This summit addresses the topic head on.
In the wake of these events and in response to the Hackitt Report, we hear from Chandru Dissanayeke, Director of Building Safety Reform at the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) who will be setting out the government’s response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s review and an invitation to be part of changing the sector.
Other speakers include:
- Jean Duprez MBE FCIOB of the Construction Client’s Leadership Group
- Mark Farmer, CEO at Cast and author of Modernise or Die
- Geoff Wilkinson from Wilkinson Construction
- Daniel Hunt from Congrid
The Quality in Construction Summit provides a platform for professionals with a remit for quality in the construction sector to learn, share and develop ideas to improve quality levels. Focusing on all aspects of the industry, the programme will look at the core subjects to be tackled; digitalising quality, legislative updates, modern methods of construction, fire prevention in the quality process and more.
Over 200 construction professionals from companies including Wilmott Dixon, Morgan Sindall, Taylor Wimpey, Balfour Beatty, Vinci Construction and many more will be in attendance, ready to network and develop their quality process and business strategy.
